SEASONAL PRODUCT! Late Summer/Fall only.
For the tired, aching body, this oil is pure luxury and relief. Some call this oil a 'masseuse in a bottle', and for good reason. Invite a calm caress, a warming embrace and a blanket of care with this whole plant infused oil. It's my go-to for days when my body is overworked, in pain or inflamed. It's also gentle enough for children and a wonderful aid for growing pains.
We make this oil with fresh plant matter only, which makes this a very seasonal product. The season is now wrapped up and we have a few gallons to share, so claim yours while you can! If you call home more than one bottle, put the others in the fridge to keep them fresh longer.
Body oiling is an ancient practice. Anointing the body; taking time to pay attention to it, to thank it for all its hard work. Our nervous systems are often near collapse, we are trained to work harder, push through, lean in. But what if the thing we really need is a radical shift towards leaning out? To slowing down? To setting boundaries and leaving the dishes till tomorrow? What if the radical way to health and wellness is sitting quietly and nourishing our nervous system through massage and herbal infused oils?
St. John's Wort, although primarily used for uplifting the mildly depressed, is also an incredible pain reliever and helps to soothe and heal damaged nerves.
California Poppy is used frequently for it's soothing effect on the nervous system, its effect on pain and it's gently sedating nature.
Add a little to your bath or apply directly to wet or dry skin. Allow some time to massage this beautiful oil in, connecting with yourself, spending time showing yourself love and affection. Wrap yourself in a robe and lay down, revelling in self compassion.
“Our small batch products are made with orgranicly grown or foraged herbs and crafted in an unapologetically slow and time honoured way. No preservatives, no added fragrance, no emulsifiers.
Just simple plant based formulations akin to those made in the kitchens of our great grandmothers.”
