THE SOFTENING PRACTICE:
Place a few drops of oil into your palm and warm it gently between your hands. Bring your hands toward your face and take a slow breath in, allowing the aroma to settle your senses.
With unhurried touch, smooth the oil onto the neck and décolletage, shoulders, inner arms, wrists, pulse points, and through the ends of the hair. As the oil is applied, allow the breath to deepen and the shoulders to soften. Let the warmth of touch and the gentle transcendence of scent gently draw you back to yourself.
